Charity Boot Camp
Sync Fitness works with a number of charities and non-profits each year in order to give back to our local community.
Our Charity Boot Camp is truly a HIGHLIGHT of each month. Every class is full of parents and kiddos laughing and sweating and having fun in the name of fitness and health. It goes without saying that everyone has a blast and eagerly looks forward to this class at 8am on the FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH*.
For 2016 our Charity Boot Camp is benefitting Mary’s Place, one of the most special organizations in Seattle. You may recognize their name from their recent, “No Child Sleeps Outside” campaign. They run night shelters and a day center to house and help homeless women and children. I am proud to share that Sync members raised almost $10,000 and about 10 packed carloads of donated clothes, diapers, food, and other necessities for the families at Mary’s Place in 2015. I had the pleasure to tour the day center and I was blown away by all the services they were offering. You can read about my experience here. I couldn’t be more proud to have Sync help serve these women and their families.
Anyone can come to our Charity Boot Camp. You do not have to be a current Boot Camp Member. Kids, friends and significant others are welcome. Just know that the workout will be a little more “energetic” (read: potentially a bit chaotic, but totally fun), and it will be an effective workout for everyone.
As for the kids, I’m not putting any age limits in place right now. Your kids will be your responsibility. They should be able to follow my directions (mostly) and your directions (most certainly). So, I don’t recommend bringing babies/toddlers.
The purpose of this workout will be family fun! We also ask that you make a donation to Mary’s Place at the end of each workout. The recommended donation is $10 per person (cash or check). If you bring a check made out to Mary’s Place they will mail you back tax info so your donation will be tax deductible.
You do not need to sign up in advance for this class, just show up. We are located at 3837 13th Ave West, Seattle, WA 98119.
The first time your family participates, you will need to fill out a waiver for your entire family, so please arrive early to do that or CLICK HERE to download the Family Waiver.

*Please Note: This class takes the place of our normal 8am Boot Camp on the first Saturday of each month. If you are looking for a kid-free workout on these days, please plan to attend our 9am Boot Camp class. Donations will be accepted at both classes.
