How do you know if Boot Camp is for you? Boot Camp with Sync Fitness is designed to accommodate all fitness levels. That said, if you’ve never exercised before, you may want to get in a few one-on-one personal training sessions prior to Boot Camp to get a feel of what you’re in for. We’ve worked with people in Boot Camp who are very new to exercise and found that it can be such a fun rewarding experience. When you’re new to exercise you can only get better, faster and stronger. So the progress comes in leaps and bounds (literally!) and it feels amazing.

Sync Fitness strives to meet the needs of all participants. So, on any day at Boot Camp you’ll see different people doing similar exercises in different ways, depending on their abilities. That’s the great part. If you’re ready to rock – we’ll take you there. If you need to hold back a little, we’ll give you some modifications to help you out.

If you have any joint injuries, you should inquire with Sync Fitness before signing up for Boot Camp. For example, if you have a recent knee injury and can’t do any running, squatting or lunging, Boot Camp may not be the best way for you to exercise. If you’re not sure if you’re injury will limit you in Boot Camp, contact us and we’ll help you figure it out.

Hope to see you all soon at Boot Camp 2009: Spring Edition!

This coming Thursday you can find me at the Seattle bridal event of the year, GET HITCHED, GIVE HOPE. Through Seattle wedding photographer extraordinaire, Barbie Hull (you have to check out her blog at www.barbiehull.com) I learned of this amazing event where Sync Fitness has donated personal training to 100 brides!! Bridal vendors from all over Seattle will be there to show off their wares. Best part – this is a breast cancer fundraiser. Because I have family, friends and clients who are breast cancer survivors, I am so happy to participate in this event! In addition to hooking up the brides, the Seattle wedding vendors are looking to raise $50,000 to grant wishes for 12 women with stage IV breast cancer. So, if you know of someone getting married anytime soon, have them check it out: www.gethitchedgivehope.com. You will find me there in my new party shoes (new party shoes are a must for an event like this!)

Congratulations to Brenda and Aaron who finished the Kirkland Triathlon yesterday! This was Brenda’s first triathlon – and she did amazing! I’ve been training Brenda and Aaron for a few years now…and what fun they’ve been. Aaron and I started working together when he was training for his first triathlon. He dragged Brenda along to one of my bootcamps shortly thereafter, and the rest is history. They have both made such incredible improvements over the years. They are regulars in all my classes. When they can’t make it to class it is obvious something is missing. There energy and drive is admirable. I am so proud to work with this great TRIATHLETE couple!
