No Equipment Home Workout / Travel Workout / Home Boot Camp Workout

I am posting this workout for two reasons:
1. My clients want a good workout they can perform at home with no equipment while I’m on vacation next week.
2. I want a travel workout I can do without equipment while I am vacationing.
So, here you go! This workout is similar to what many of my clients experience at Sync Fitness Boot Camp in Wallingford. It’s some serious cardio and some great strength training as well. This workout runs through 13 exercises without rest. I recommend you PERFORM THREE ROUNDS of this workout, TIMING EACH ROUND. Try to beat yourself with each round – you can do it!! Try to limit your rest and REST ONLY BETWEEN ROUNDS, not between exercises. Are you ready?! Here’s the workout:
WARMUP: Warm up of your choice. Should last 3-5 minutes and be light to medium in intensity. Some ideas are a light jog in your neighborhood, run stairs in your house, jump rope, jumping jacks.
WORKOUT: Here’s the good stuff!
1. Forward / Reverse Lunges x 10 per side
2. Burpees (with or without Push Ups) x 15
3. Slow Bicycles x 20
4. 180 Jump Squats x 10
5. Inchworms with Push Ups x 10
6. Cobra x (5x:05)
7. Alternating Jump Lunges x 20
8. Staggered Push Ups x 10 per side
9. Leapfrog Squats x 10
10. Jump Squats x 10 (DO NOT REST BETWEEN LEAPFROG SQUATS AND JUMP SQUATS!)
11. Hand to Elbow Plank x 10
12. Jacknives x 15 per side
13. Airplanes x (5x:05)
COOL DOWN: You can do a cardio cool down, same as your warm up and then some stretching. Don’t forget the stretching – it’s important!
The posted video goes through one round completely. Use the video as much or as little as you need to. Once you’ve got the moves down, feel free to mute my chatter and pump up your favorite tunes. Happy sweating!
2010 Wallingford Indoor Boot Camp in full swing!
Are you ready to get lean and mean in 2010?? If you’re wondering what Indoor Boot Camp is all about check out the video above. This is footage from our Thanksgiving Fundraiser. Talk about a great workout!
Classes vary in format from day to day, but you can count on burning a ton of calories (400-600 calories per session, depending on how hard you push) and building some lovely lean muscles from getting hardcore cardio and strength of steel resistance training in every class.

Sync Fitness’s new Fremont / Wallingford classes are a combination of Indoor Boot Camp and Circuit Training. We are movin’ and shakin’ and sweatin’ quite a bit. Think squats, lunges, push ups, pull ups, and planks. As always, I am able to modify class activities to accommodate many fitness levels. If you’re just getting back into exercise I can help you find the best ways to break a sweat without breaking a leg. If you’ve been training for awhile and you’re ready to step it up a notch, I’m ready to bring it on!

New Classes: Indoor Boot Camp Meets Circuit Training!

Sync Fitness Outdoor Boot Camp is all wrapped up. We had a ton of fun getting stronger and faster and more fit this summer. Starting September 15 Sync Fitness classes will move back indoors to Seattle’s best training studio, The Fitness Lab. I am so excited to announce my new class schedule! With the new and improved Fitness Lab location in Fremont/Wallingford I will be able to offer more classes to more people. I am thrilled to be able to reach more of you! Please read through the info below to see if my new classes fit your fitness needs.
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Sync Fitness’s new classes will be a combination of Indoor Boot Camp and Circuit Classes many of you have taken before. $20 set up fee (waived if you register by September 8)
Because classes are now being offered on an ongoing basis, this is a monthly fee rather than an upfront payment for an 8 week series, as in the past. This means less money up front. When you register for class you will be billed monthly, via electronic payments. You can pay by credit or debit card, as many of you have been requesting for some time – woo hoo! Your registration is ongoing until you decide to cancel it. You are not obligated to any length of time.
**Your monthly payment allows you to attend any or all Sync Fitness classes each week. Feel free to attend all 4 every week!**

Seattle Boot Camp Up and Running (literally!)
Sync Fitness Boot Camp is off and RUNNING! Come join the fun every Tuesday and Thursday at the Wallingford Playfield. We meet from 6:30-7:30. $25 to drop in. Or prepay for the rest of the classes until June 25 and pay only $20 per class. Hope to see you at our next class!
Wallingford Boot Camp In Full Swing
In spite of the Seattle rain, Sync Fitness Boot Camp is up and running. We had class on Tuesday and Thursday in the rain and mud. I have to say, it was great! Everyone was such a good sport about the weather. Besides, what is boot camp if you can’t get down and dirty?! We didn’t get totally dumped on, so that was nice. We got our assessments done to establish some baseline measurements. So, now everyone is all ready to work their booties off, literally. Last night we did a BUNCH of cardio drills and everyone hung in there like CHAMPS. I really expected more complaining. I could see the calories evaporating off butts and bellies, just vanishing into thin air.
There was lots of talk about six pack abs as we crunched the night away at the end of our workout. Watch out Seattle, we got some hot bods in the makin’ here!

Seattle Boot Camp at Wallingford Playfield Is Filling FAST!
Sync Fitness is pumped to report that Boot Camp 2009: Spring Edition is over half full! I should also let you all know that I just got a shipment of Boot Camp toys in the mail today. Lots of fun stuff: balls, bands, ladders and more. Can’t wait to share them with you! I’ve been adding to my toy collection in order to accommodate more people. So invite your friends and co-workers to sweat alongside you at the Wallingford Playfield. You don’t want to miss Seattle’s best Boot Camp!
